Riverside Impact Fund (RIF) was established in the Spring of 2026 by local Riverside residents and Carter Riverside High School alumni. Initially serving students in the Riverside neighborhood of Fort Worth, TX, this volunteer-led organization has provided mentorship and scholarships for students at Carter Riverside High School.

 

Our larger commitment to the 76111 zip code addresses a lack of connection between students and their community. As alumni and residents who live in the neighborhood we want to positively impact and create a community students are proud of. 

 

Data shows that the Riverside area is considered a part of the "disadvantaged" category in school performance ratings, with high concentrations of students requiring, but not always achieving, college-ready levels. 

 

RIF is deeply invested, believing local action yields lasting social impact. By ensuring our mentors share similar backgrounds and have achieved similar goals, we aim to provide a more robust foundation as they embark upon their collegiate and professional journeys.
